Authentication FAQs

Why do I get this after verification of username and password - "Connection could not be established. Check your password and Try again".

This occurs if you enter incorrect Information for your WorldLink account. Both the username and password are case sensitive! For example, the username "orion" is not the same as "Orion" or "ORION". Note that your username is not the same as your real name. It will be the same as your email address without the @wlink.com.np

Passwords are also case sensitive. Since passwords are not displayed (characters are substituted by *), this can be difficult to check. Make sure that your CAPS LOCK key is not ON - this is the most common cause of password failures. Be careful to type it correctly. Asking Windows to save your password is one way of avoiding this problem.

If you think you have entered the correct username and password, and that none of the above applies to your situation, please contact our Support section for assistance.
