
1. Click on Start , click on Connect To and click on wlink .
2. To check the settings for your Dial-up connection, click on Properties.
3. In the Properties screen under the General tab, be sure you have a modem setting under Connect using . Be sure you have your correct Dial-up connection telephone number listed.

4. Click on the Options tab and make sure your settings match exactly to the picture above. Then, click on the Security tab .
5. In the Security tab, match your settings to this picture above and then click on the Networking tab .

6. In the Networking tab, be sure the PPP, Windows 95/98/NT 4/2000, Internet option is selected in the Type of dial-up server I am calling: box. Also, only Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and QoS Packet Scheduler should have a check in the box. Next, click on the Advanced tab.
7. In the Advanced tab, be sure there is a check in the Internet Connection Firewall box. Click on OK to continue and save any changes made.

8. Be sure to re-enter your correct Username and Password . |
