1 Click on the Start , Settings , Dial Up Networking and then click on wlink .

2. The Username and Password fields should contain your correct username and password.

3. In the Phone number field should be the correct Dialup Number of WorldLink. Now, c lick on Properties .

4. The Connect using: box should should contain the name of the correct modem installed in your computer. Next, click on the Networking tab.

5. Just under Type of Dial-Up Server it should read PPP: Internet, Windows 2000/NT, Windows ME .

Under the Advanced Options section, Enable software compression should have a checkmark.

Under the Allowed network protocols: section, only TCP/IP should have a checkmark. Now, c lick on the Security tab.

6. Under the Authentication section; in the User name field should be your username (all lower case letters with no spaces) and In the Password field should be your password (also lower case letters with no spaces)

The Domain: field should be left blank. Under the Advanced Security options, nothing should have a checkmark. Next, c lick on the Dialing tab.

7. Make sure there is a checkmark for " This is the default Internet connection ". Just below that, Always dial my default connection should be selected. Also make sure there is a checkmark for " Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed ".

Click on OK now.
