In our efforts to continuously improve the quality of our services, we have decided to undertake the following changes (effective Chaitra 1, 2063 / Mar 15, 2007) to the process by which we renew customer accounts and collect payments. We are confident that the changes will greatly streamline these processes and reduce the instances of service disruptions due to late payment or lack of communication at the time of service renewal. We request our valued customers to kindly read these changes and comply with them to make this endeavor a success. Thank you!
Renewal
• Presently, some customers face service disruptions when we are not able to contact the customer and get the customer's consent to have the service renewed prior to expiration. In order to avoid this, we will automatically renew all accounts prior to expiration assuming that the customer intends to renew.
• We will make every effort to contact you and inform you of the impending renewal using e-mail and SMS 15 days and 7 days prior to the account expiration. This will give you a chance to switch to another service plan or terminate the service before the automatic renewal.
• Once the account has been renewed, we will send another notification (using SMS and e-mail) informing you of the renewal and the total payment due for the service.
• Payment must be made in full within 8 days of account renewal. If full payment has not been made, the account will be automatically suspended on the ninth day.
• Once full payment is received for a suspended account, the account will be automatically re-activated. This process is fully automated and a suspended account may not be re-activated without payment being entered into the software. Therefore, it will not be possible to entertain requests to extend or re-activate suspended accounts without payment.
• Any account suspended for more than 60 days will automatically be removed from our system.

Payment
• Besides paying at our branch offices and collection counters located throughout Kathmandu, you can now pay your WorldLink dues online using Internet banking if you have an account with Laxmi Bank or Kumari Bank. More banks will be added in the near future.
• We have also added two new collection counters at Maharajgunj and Kalimati, in addition to the 8 existing counters at Jawalakhel, Boudha, New Baneshwor, Chabahil, Lazimpat, New Road, Putalisadak and Thamel.
• In an effort to provide you better service, we have outsourced the activity of having the payment collected from your premises to another company. This company will charge Rs. 50 for every visit to your premises. The charge is payable to the person collecting the payment at the time of the visit. WorldLink will not provide this service for free.
• If you choose to pay Rs. 50 and have the payment collected from your premises, WorldLink will not be liable for any service disruption if the payment is not collected on time for any reason. Therefore, it is advisable to schedule the collection at least a day before your account is scheduled to be automatically suspended for non-payment.
